Saving information in the PST format
The next step of OstToPst comes down to saving the information read from the OST file to a Microsoft Outlook storage. To do it, you should specify the folder where the file with the data will be created. The easiest way to do it is to use the folder selection dialog box opened with the button. Besides, you can type the necessary folder manually in the corresponding field. This step also has a quick access list containing the folders that were used to save information at least once. To select them later, just click the button and then click the necessary item in the drop-down list. Right after you specify the folder, Recovery Toolbox for Outlook calculates the free space on the selected disk and the amount of space necessary to save the data read from the source storage. Before you start saving the data, make sure that there is enough space in the selected folder.
Finally, you should choose the way to save the information by the ost to pst converter software. There are two options available: saving to the disk either as a Microsoft Outlook storage or as several separate files in different formats (EML for messages, VCF for contacts, etc.). You should select the first option and click the Save button. It starts the process of saving the information and the corresponding progress bar appears on the screen.
